The zombie cause „Dying Light “ recently turned ten – an event that Techland wants to celebrate in a variety of ways. Among other things, a live stream, in-game events and an anniversary bundle are planned.

The publication of the bloody survival horror game „Dying Light “ was on the 26th January exactly ten years ago. Therefore plans developer Techland, to celebrate the long existence of the brand with events, a live stream and an anniversary bundle.
However, the stream should not only serve to celebrate, but also offer a view of upcoming content. This includes a further look at the upcoming one „Dying Light: The Beast “, that within the framework of Game Awards 2024 was presented via trailer.

Techland is celebrating the 10th Dying Light’s birthday
On the occasion of the first ten years of „Dying Light “, Techland organizes weekly events within the first two series parts. There are also other highlights at – below you can see all the points at a glance.
Four weeks of events in „Dying Light “:
- Return of popular modes such as hyper mode (enemies are thrown away when struck) and double XP.
- In-game rewards and free skin bundles for players.
New bounties in „Dying Light 2 “:
- 5th to 26th February: Weekly challenges in the Pilgrim Outpost.
- Rewards: A new charm (in two out of four completed bounties) and a well-known weapon from the original game at the end of all four.
„Dying To Know “ 2025 episode:
- Looking back on ten years „Dying Light “.
- Preview of upcoming content, including a look at „Dying Light: The Beast “, a new, independent game.
Anniversary Bundle:
- „Dying Light Enhanced 10th Anniversary Edition “ and „Dying Light 2: Stay Human Digital Extras Edition “ in a bundle.
- Special discounts, for example „Dying Light 2: Stay Human Reloaded Edition “ for around 20 euros.
Future Techland projects
Apart from the news of the anniversary, Techland has spoken about its future projects. Accordingly, the Poles are planning this:
Standalone game: „Dying Light: The Beast “
- The title will be published in summer 2025.
- Brings Kyle Crane back, the well-known protagonist of the first part.
- Actor Roger Craig Smith takes on the role again.

- Spring: Big gameplay and technology updates.

Techland also plans to expand the „Dying Light “ brand. For example, new projects are planned such as board games, merchandise and a web comic. This should turn „Dying Light “ into a comprehensive zombie franchise that goes beyond video games.
