The final big patch for Baldur’s Gate III is currently out of eighth on the PlayStation 5. Even Larian Studios is unsure exactly how it happened, yet the update was made available earlier than expected.

In a statement, the studio noted that new saves made under the eighth patch would not be supported when returning to the previous update.
The eighth patch will include 12 new subclasses, a photo option, and the potential for crossplay. Larian Studios will start working on a new game after finishing the upgrade. The patch’s precise release date has not yet been made public.
